The Nintendo Wii was one of the most revolutionary things to come from gaming across the whole of its history, and the effect it had is still yet to be matched. Many gamers who grew up around the time of its release should have many memories of an assortment of games that were played on the console, and it is unlikely that anyone has managed to get the Mii channel or Wii sports theme out of their heads. The Wii has of course been discontinued now in place of the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, the latter being the most recent console from the Japanese company.
