Well I’m not sure what Disney (or Nintendo) would say about this creation but aside from possible copyright issues this is one awesome picture! The title of this post is a little bit deceiving, in case anyone is confused this isn’t the kind of mouse you use on your computer! Thanks to Chris for sending it to me! The second image is un-related but also sent in by Chris, I just thought it was cool 😀
This is really awesome! Gege-Crochet sat down and made this amazing Mario Blanket for her Husband’s brother. Unfortunetly there were no patterns used so we can’t recreated this crocheted masterpiece, however this also makes it quite a bit cooler as Gege says this about how she made it:
“There is no pattern that I followed. I searched the internet for screen shots of SMB and then used them for the map I had in my head. There is no “master graph” for any of the panels, much less for the entire project.”
Jude Buffum came up with this amazing piece called “Mushroom Recession” that was created for the 8-Bit & Beyond show. I really love this piece! It’s a brilliantly clever way to look at the economy in a slightly humorous way, and extremely well executed. Notice how Mario even has 00 coins!
I was browsing the net the other day and I came across myteespot.com and noticed they had a whole heap of awesome looking Mario T-Shirts!
I couldn’t help myself and ordered the following 2 designs:
The T-shirts are great, very comfortable and official Nintendo merchandise! Check them out if you are looking to Mariofy your wardrobe.
There may even be a little t-shirt giveaway coming for our readers…keep an eye out!
40 barrels of oil per day is currently being spilled into the gulf of Mexico! I’m pretty sure this is one of, if not the biggest, man made environmental disasters ever. Look after the planet people, no planet = no people.
Having said this, here are a couple of Nintendo images capturing the crisis:
Many thanks to Lee and Geekologie!
I really love this kind of stuff, bringing Mario themed furniture into your home is the sign of a true Mario Fan.
“A Childs Dream.” was the message attached by submitter Lissy (Many thanks for the link) and I think that really sums this up. What Nintendo loving child wouldn’t have a serious ball with these shelves?
